BETFAIR TVG ALABAMA PROFILE: DEVIL MAY CARE
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Better known as a top breeding operation that has produced more than 120 stakes winners, including Venetian Way (1960 Kentucky Derby) and Pike Place Dancer (1996 Kentucky Oaks), Glencrest Farm has remained relatively low-profile when it comes to racing horses.
This year, however, the small stable has a big star in Devil May Care, the East coast’s top filly who Saturday faces California-based Blind Luck and four others in the 130th running of the Grade 1, $500,000 Betfair TVG Alabama at Saratoga Race Course.

“Like all of [owner] Rick Porter’s horses, she was big and beautiful, and I looked at her and said, ‘I am so glad that this one found its way to my barn’,” said Dutrow, standing outside Havre de Grace’s stall at Saratoga Race Course several days before the 130th running of the Grade 1 Betfair TVG Alabama.

BETFAIR TVG ALABAMA CONTENDER PROFILE: TIZAHIT
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – A victory by Tizahit in Saturday’s Grade 1, $500,000 Betfair TVG Alabama would provide the perfect 35th wedding anniversary for her owners Jim and Susan Hill, who could pick up their second triumph in a major race over a six-day span.
Miami Deco gave the Hills their most lucrative triumph to date in Sunday’s $483,172 Breeders’ Stakes – the third leg of the Canadian Triple Crown – at odds of 65-1, but the outcome wasn’t entirely unexpected to the residents of Calgary, Alberta.
