BALLERINA A BIG DANCE FOR INFORMED DECISION
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Informed Decision, the reigning female sprint champion, heads a field of eight in Saturday’s 32nd renewal of the Grade 1, $250,000 Ballerina Stakes at Saratoga Race Course.

D’ FUNNYBONE, DISCREETLY MINE RENEW RIVALRY IN KING’S BISHOP
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – D’ Funnybone and Discreetly Mine have met twice, and twice D’ Funnybone has emerged victorious. Yet despite those victories – in the Grade 2 Futurity last fall at Belmont Park and the Grade 2 Woody Stephens in June at the same track – horse racing often is a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately game.

Kim Dutrow, wife and assistant to Tony Dutrow, trainer of A Little Warm (No. 5): “We’re thrilled with the post. We talked about it before the draw, and we wanted to be right about there. The only thing we didn’t want was to be all the way outside.”

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The connections of Trappe Shot, trained by Kiaran McLaughlin for Nicholas Brady’s Mill House, decided Wednesday to enter the colt in Saturday’s Grade 1, $1 million Travers Stakes rather than run in the Grade 1, $250,000 King’s Bishop on the same day.
