MAKE MUSIC FOR ME
Overshadowed by Ice Box’s 19th to 2nd place rally in the Kentucky Derby, was the 4th place performance by this guy. Pinched back at the start to 20th, closed for fourth money in a determined rally, showed he is versatile with this being his first start ever on conventional dirt. Maybe your Belmont Stakes sleeper!
WARBLING
Showed up in Grade I Humana Distaff after easy win in Grade II Florida stakes. Set pressured pace while down on the inside, which was just not the place to be over the sloppy going, and understandably faltered in the stretch. Filly has some quality though and will be extremely tough in upcoming Grade II events.

FARALLONE
Well-bred first timer showed up with a ‘ton’ of works listed, however had a wide venture. Did show some late gain though to just miss the show money.
SPINCO BOB
Looked to be holding an edge this day with a positive rider change with a poor break. Don’t give up on him yet.
Tampa Bay
GALAXY TAX
Here’s a guy whose form seemed to be on the improve, and he did race well, closing nicely for 3rd. Watch the entries, as another turf victory shouldn’t be too far off.

EVERYONE
Appeared on our ‘Through the Binoculars’ list last year and hasn’t been seen since September. Gelding made a menacing move then flattened out in the stretch. Could be better next time out.

BAILZEE
Looked to be taking a huge advantage and the betting public certainly agreed, however filly got buried down on the inside, and then was bothered by a rival. Did close enough for the ‘show dough’ but it was a little too late. Perhaps with a jockey change next time!

BEIHAI PARK
Good series of works for three-year-old debut but raced wide and never really got into the mix! Barn is usually better second time out however.
MIPOTE
Another who was on our list of horses to watch last year. Closed well at 7 furlongs in first start since last September, and three-year-old should be only better when he stretches out!

L.C. BULGARI
Loved the jockey change for this colt’s first race since January and first ever start on grass, a surface he is bred for, by the way. Finished a closing 3rd at 12-1 odds and wasn’t too far off the winner. Lightly raced, this guy looks to have a future on the ‘green’.
QUIET ON THE TEE
First start since late November, added blinkers but was caught in traffic most of the journey. The public certainly liked him though, and perhaps next time with a cleaner trip, he will justify their faith in him!
Hollywood Park
PRINCE OF GOTHAM
First start since February for lightly raced Gotham City colt. Good works, first time blinkers, ran evenly from the rail slot, a post that he has been mired in now three out of four starts. Perhaps he may just need a break in post positions to get all of the money!

RIDE CANDY RIDE
Two-year-old Candy Ride colt debuted with a series of good works ‘in the holster’, but lost all chance turning for home in short dash. Was literally ‘wiped out’ by another foe but did recover well enough to finish third. Should do with a cleaner trip!

GREEN STORM
Firster made premature swooping move to take the lead and open up turning into the stretch. Tired in deep stretch but did show enough that he wont be held off too much longer.
