TEST MARKET
Firster by Rock Hard Ten showed a long series of works but was bumped at the start but recovered well enough though for second. This barn is usually better with a race under their belt.
(Fort Erie)

MAKE MUSIC FOR ME
Overshadowed by Ice Box’s 19th to 2nd place rally in the Kentucky Derby, was the 4th place performance by this guy. Pinched back at the start to 20th, closed for fourth money in a determined rally, showed he is versatile with this being his first start ever on conventional dirt. Maybe your Belmont Stakes sleeper!

NOWHERE TO HIDE
Kentucky Derby starter last year, was making second ever start on turf, was in tight and then steadied. Did get going again in the stretch when clear to just miss second money. May have found a new home on the ‘green’.

Hollendorfer colt made racing debut and was sent hard to the half (: 44.3) and quit in deep stretch.
Looks to be primed to garner an early ‘sheepskin’.

Shut off going into second turn, virtually losing all chance at the win. Did regroup enough to close well for third.

NERVOUS MARVIN
Jock seemed to move too soon with this fellow who looked to be home free, only to be collared near the wire, and finished second. Maybe with a more patient ride.
(Fair Grounds)

DOCTOR CAL
Looked to be a short horse in his first start since October. Raced prominently tracking the early speed only to quit in midstretch. This guy will be dangerous if he can ‘string’ a few races together.

WILD SHOOTER
Maiden showed up in N2L and wasn’t overly disgraced. This one should be tough next time out back with non-winners.
November 12 (Churchill Downs)

CAPTAIN CARLOS
First-time starter was off slow then 4 and 5 wide throughout in a lackluster performance. Don’t give up on this guy though, as this barn is usually better second time out.
October 4 (Turfway Park)
CONNEMARA
